Review: Veggies EveryDay with God Daily Devotional

untitled

My kids love VeggieTales my daughter’s favorite character is tomato, they enjoy all of the shows on Netflix, so when I found out they have a devotional I was so excited.

About the book

Everyday with God is the latest 365-day devotion (one for boys and another for girls) from VeggieTales. The updated content and art offer the perfect opportunity for parent and child to share time together each day. Each entry includes a bible verse, short devotion, thought of the day and prayer. The content will help children learn more about God and develop a daily practice for bedtime reading, family devotion time or as a fresh way to start each day.

My passion is for kids to understand and love God at an early age. I remember my mom sending me to bible school at 4 and 5 and I loved making Jesus Loves You beads. I understood the importance of children being able to express God and what he means to their lives.

I was talking to God at an early age praying over my mom when she was drunk.

The Bible says train up a child in the way they should go so when they get old they won't depart.… Click To Tweet

I have several bible stories that i read to them but when I saw they have a kids devotion book and its by VeggieTales I had to give it a try.

What makes this devotional great is that it has the same format as an adult devotional with the scripture, prayer and reflection at the end. There is one for boys and one for girls but so far I read it with my daughter and it applies for her as well.

The devotions are short and to the point which is perfect for little minds to comprehend with full colors and pictures of the veggie tales characters on each page.

Every night we read it together and he looks forward to our devotion time together.

I recommend this devotion for families.
