Review of Legoland Discovery Westchester

“I received free tickets in exchange for my honest opinion. All opinions are my own”

Who remembers playing with Lego’s as a kid?

If you didn’t have Lego’s then something was wrong with you!

Now here we are in 2018 and when it seems as though that smart technology has taken over we still have Legoland.

While you may be thinking of the Legoland in Florida, I am talking about the Legoland Discovery in Yonkers, NY. Legoland is a kids dream of legos galore with over 32,300 square feet of legos a 4D Cinema, Lego amusement rides, shooting car game and mini land.

I took my 7 and 4-year-old. Our first stop was the shooting car ride which you have to try to shoot the targets as you roll on by. Even my 4 year had fun with this one. Next we are in mini land where everything in the showcase is made out of Lego’s it’s also interactive in some spots where you get to move the actual machines in the showcase immediately they recognized Emmit before me.

We got to try (and say I try) cause finding those small Lego pieces were not easy to try to build a car. Their favorite spot was the fun house where you take off your shoes and run your way through tunnels and climb ropes. They also had the Merlin Apprentice Ride which I had to ride twice because my husband gets dizzy. By the end of it I was dizzy myself.

The only thing my kids didn’t do was the Lego 4D Cinema my son doesn’t like the dark.

Overall, it was a fun day as you exit you land in the gift shop (Be Warned) it’s not cheap! But would you believe my wonderful kids asked for nothing!? (I’m still shocked at that one).

F.Y.I. They have a cafe for you to eat if you don’t have kids (or want to take them) you can go to their adult Lego night.
