Review: Always Enough Never Too Much

I love a good devotional, one that is thought-provoking and inspiring. I use my devotionals as a companion guide to my Bible study.

Can I read the Bible by itself? Yes I can but a devotional helps to apply real life situations to the scriptures.

The right devotional will get you to reflect on the word of God in your life. I got the opportunity to review the devotional. This devotional is like having 2 books in one.

As women we tend to feel like we are never enough and that out problems are too big for God to handle but Connelly & Morgan reminds us that we are always enough and we are never too much. There are 50 devotionals for each theme giving you a total of 100 devotionals. Each devotional is beautifully written to reflect the heart of God in your life.Review: Always Enough Never Too Much

As moms we tend to feel like we are too much and we are not enough I know I have felt this way many times as a women and as a mother. They seek to help women overcome their thoughts so that they can move forward.

    About the book

I absolutely love this devotional I would recommend this devotional to any women whether you are a mom or not. The devotionals are short enough where you can read them while on the go. It starts with scripture so if you want to dig deeper on your own you can.

I am truly grateful to God that I have made it another year that he saw fit that I would be married and a mother or two beautiful children.

As this new year unfolds I have learned many things about myself and I wan to share with you the 37 things I learned to live a happy life.

    1. Put God first. Do not seek validation from family or peers only God.
    2. Don’t neglect taking care of yourself.
    3. Eat to live not live to eat.
    4. Peace comes from within.
    5. Pride can make you miss God inspired aspirations.
    6. Don’t put everyone in the same category.
    7. Communication is key to any relationship.
    8. It’s better to be yourself than live a lie.
    9. Trust God in your process.
    10. Fear will destroy God’s plan for your life.
    11. Not everyone will accept you for who you are.
    12. Set Boundaries.
    13. When God says move do it.
    14. Even if fearful move anyway.
    15. Don’t compromise for popularity.
    16. Do your best but let God do the rest.
    17. It’s ok to not be popular.
    18. Love yourself enough to know you will make mistakes.
    19. Fear not what man can do but what God can.
    20. Walk on water.
    21. Take a break when you need it.
    22. Don’t bite off more than you can chew.
    23. It’s ok to say no. I can’t emphasize this enough.
    24. Forgiveness is a necessity.
    25. Don’t feel guilty about saying no.
    26. Time in the presence of God is the best time.
    27. Not everyone will like you and that’s ok.
    28. Know your limits, set boundaries about what you can and can’t do.
    29. Don’t sweat the small stuff.
    30. Always strive to be better than the day before.
    31. Be grateful for the good and the bad.
    32. Whatever you do don’t lose hope.
    33. It really could be worse.
    34. Give of your time.
    35. Be honest about how you feel.
    36. Procrastination is for the birds.
    37. Gossip create confusion.

I have seen myself grow in so many ways and that’s what life is about. God expects us to continue to grow. God talks about being like living water not stale and stagnant but always moving, growing and learning.

What life lessons have you learned along the way?

Why It’s Good To Have A Little Faith In Yourself

Have you ever looked in the mirror and wondered what you are doing with your life? Maybe you have a job that you hate, maybe you are a little overweight and insecure, or maybe there are parts of your personality which you wish you could change.

Having insecurities and issues with yourself is normal, we all have them and they will get us down once in a while. However, did you ever think to have a little more faith in yourself and your abilities? Once we start to change the way we think about ourselves, we can be so much more successful than ever before. Here are some of the reasons why we need to have faith in one form or another.

Who else is going to do it?

If you don’t believe in yourself completely, who else is going to do it for you? Sure, some of us have family and partners who put their belief in us, but it isn’t good enough for other people to do all of the work. If you really want to succeed and be happy in life you need to believe that you can do it. The next time you look in the mirror, tell yourself that you can reach your goals.

    You’ll be more confident

Whether you find your faith in a Christian church, a temple or simply at home with your own thoughts, it can be a huge help to your confidence overall. When you have faith in your ability to achieve something, you are putting your trust in yourself and this will allow you to feel more confident as a person. You won’t be afraid to take the leap, try new things and talk to new people: because you will know that you can do it.

It’s a step in the right direction

Let’s say your ultimate goal in life is to set up a household with someone you love and start a family. If you don’t have faith in yourself and respect for yourself, you will never be able to achieve this goal. You have to believe in your happiness and strive for it in every step you take, and only then will you be able to achieve everything you want out of life.

    You’ll take action

The worst thing any of us can do in life is settling for second best. Whether it be your home, job, relationship or anything else: you should never settle for second best when you can strive for the best. Take the time to think about what you really want and need from your life. You need to be totally happy with your career choice and you need to be able to be happy in your own home. Having faith that you can succeed will allow you to push past your anxieties and finally take the plunge into a lifestyle you love. You can quit your job and find a new one that you love, and if it makes you happy then you have indeed succeeded.

Review: God Bless You & Good Night Giveaway

I received this book for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

As a child I would love when someone read me a book at night. I loved reading so much that as I grew up I would get in trouble for reading aloud and I would hide my books under my pillow and read them with a flashlight.

I passed that tradition down to my children and was so happy to read God Bless You & Good Night. God Bless You & Good Night sparked a series that is as beloved as it is adorable. It has beautiful artwork and a wonderful message of love between a parent and child. My daughter and son loved reading this book.

Now you have the opportunity to read this book I have partnered with Front Gate to give you the opportunity to your own copy of God Bless You & Good Night.
