About Me

Tamara Nicole South was born June 28, 1981 in Bronx, NY. She lost her mother at the age of six from and her father at the age of thirteen from substance abuse.

She enjoys blogging, writing poetry, singing, crocheting, bowling and meeting new people. Tamara is a suicide survivor, she seeks to help others overcome the bereavement of parents and suicide prevention. She also wants to help young girls discover their hidden beauty in Christ.

Tamara received her undergraduate degree in Human Development from Binghamton University and received her Master’s degree as a Graduate Assistant in Sociology of Education from New York University.

She is the author of the journal "You're So Worth It" a journal which reflects how God sees you. She created this journal out her own experience with low self-esteem.
