And the peace that transcends all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ. Philippians 4:7
God’s peace transcends all understanding
The dictionary describes understanding as intelligence. We understand that peace could mean when things are going right but God says peace that transcends all understanding. The world’s peace says that I have money, cars and happiness and I have the dream job. But God says peace that transcends all understanding. All that we may think of peace where your lawn is full of green grass but what happens when you get the weeds that starts eating the grass. No matter what you do it feels like nothing is going good but God says that through Jesus Christ it is not your material goods that you will find peace.
Life is like a stock market its up and down we know there is uncertainty but through Jesus Christ the solid rock there is no up and down you should feel one way whether your external circumstances are right or wrong that that is peace. How do we get the peace? Our mind set must change. Our minds must be aligned with God when it seem as though we should be losing our sanity and sinking into depression due to some external circumstance but we have to remember that the peace of God is far more powerful.
