As I read Michael Jordon’s documentary I thought of consummation, obsession, even idolatry. Michael Jordon stated that he has no peace. He found peace in the game.I am reminded of my own desires to be perfect it consumed me I didn’t have room in my world for criticism I had to be that straight A student at all costs the competitiveness was there, the desire was there and the emptiness was there as well the feeling that nothing in the world could replace getting an A.

So Michael I understood exactly what you were going through and you know what helped to quench that thirst it was God. Once you have a relationship with Christ you go from worshipping basketball to worshipping Christ. God calls us to be worshippers so if we don’t worship him we are going to worship something. John 4:23 tell us, But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.

Let us pray that those who have no peace find the Prince of Peace.
