This was my first time going out since the car accident which took place September 11. I got the opportunity through U.S.Family Guide to go to the Holiday Jazz Cruise. The cruise takes place in Chelsea Piers and we had a splendid time. When you first look at the boat you say whoa its small it reminds you of a tugboat in the giant sea. My husband’s response when he saw the boat was “we getting on that”! But when you get on the boat you notice the difference. You are surrounded by windows and the most sparkly floors and tables. My friend told me that there were a lot of great cruises to explore at websites similar to cruiseagency.com.au to book in the future so we if end up loving this a lot we might look into some more international cruises.
On the boat you get a choice of wine, hot cocoa, and juice
This is the band you get to choose it if want Christmas Carols or Holiday Jazz Band which operates on different dates.
We rode around for 1.5 hours traveling to see the Statue of Liberty and then down to the Brooklyn Bridge and then back to Chelsea Piers. It was a relaxing time. Word of advice make sure you dress warm because tourists will open the windows to take pictures making the inside cold. Also we grabbed a bite to eat because you are also only fed cookies and crackers so keep that in mind. As parents we don’t get breaks often but when you do make sure its a good one.
If you are looking for a nice Holiday boat ride I invite you to buy tickets here
What will you be doing next year for the holidays?
