5 reasons to visit Legoland

legoland2

Last year, we took the kids to Disney World in Orlando to the Magic Kingdom. But on top of getting rained on every day, we noticed that a lot of the rides were not for our children’s age the one ride we got on was it’s a small world, and we disliked it.

You can read about our Disney experience.

This year I received complimentary tickets to review Legoland Amusement and Water park.

About Legoland

Legoland Florida Resort is built for kids. This 150-acre interactive theme park which offers more than 50 rides, shows, and attractions, restaurants, shopping a breathtaking botanical garden and the Legoland Water Park all geared to families with children 2-12 years old.

5 reasons to visit Legoland

Everything is awesome; Everything is cool when your apart of a team was the song that lit up the eyes of my 2 and 5-year-old at the point they didn’t want to stay in their stroller. Below are 5 reasons why you should go to Legoland.

1.) Age Appropriate

As stated before, there weren’t many rides we went on at the Magic Kingdom for a 2 and a 5-year-old. Legoland was a monoculture all its own to cater to a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old. While the Magic Kingdom can also feel like a place for adults, Legoland feels like a place for kids with statues that stand no bigger than a child. My son was able to get on the roller coasters and sit in the front car with his dad. They also have a play area for toddlers where they have slides, and lego to play with and also a good spot for shade.

2.) Less crowded

We went the first week of May but when I say we arrived at the park at 1 pm, and it closed at 5 pm and was finished by 4:30 pm mind you the park is not as big as the Magic Kingdom but some rides had absolutely no wait.

3.) Interactive. From the junior driving school to the drive your boat, to the firehouse racing and build your car and race. Legoland prides itself on being interactive which is excellent for the kiddies. You can also trade and collect mini-figures with the staff.

4.) Water Park

At the Magic Kingdom, there is a lot of walking, and they only give free water but at Legoland, you have the option of going to the Water Park which is an option you can include on your ticket.

5.)Reasonably Priced. If your money is tight after plane flights, hotel charges, car rental then I would say Legoland is a cool place to go as well. $69.00 one day ticket which includes water park (but the water park is not always open)
