5 reasons to choose Kimpton Hotel for family stay
December 3rd was an exciting time, I was chosen to present a workshop at Girl Scouts “Keys to Leadership Conference.” We were driving from NYC to American University in Washington, D.C. so we needed a place a stay and Kimpton Glover Park Hotel gladly hosted my stay. When researching hotels, I wanted to make sure that the hotel was family friendly and it exceeded my expectations at how kid friendly they were.

Here are 5 reasons to choose Kimpton Hotel for family stay
1.Family Friendly
When traveling with kids you have to make sure they are accommodated. Kimpton offers TV shows for kids, they have a evening social in their lobby which offers kids and adult (hot chocolate mixed with rum) and pizza. What also made this hotel unique was is they have a toy box.
2. Bike Rentals
I think this has got to be the most coolest feature I have seen at a hotel. You get to ride their bike around D.C. to explore the area how cool is that!
3. Free Toiletries
It can be hard trying to remember everything but just in case you forget something they offer everything from curling iron to toothbrush more than any other hotel that I have seen.
4. Kimpton Kids Program
This is a unique program that I have only seen at this hotel. It includes a welcome gift for your child, Guppy love which is a goldfish in your room during your stay, swimming pool, request bunk bed rooms and hula hoops in the gym while you work out.
5. Valet Parking
While this may sound strange let’s think about it you can have your car pull up to the hotel lobby no need to lug multiple bags from the hotel to your parked car. I absolutely adore valet services for hotels!
While we only had one day and couldn’t sight see with the kids like we wanted to we will definitely come back.
