***I received this book for free in exchange for my honest opinion***

As a young girl, I remembered getting picked on in school. It was a very devastating time for me as I struggled to be accepted by my peers. I know that my daughter will have to deal with being made fun of by her peers well. I am so happy that there are books that encourage my daughter’s self-esteem.

About the book

Ahni dreams of being a prima ballerina so she joins Madam Sabina’s dance school. But her spirit is soon broken when she discovers that the other students are far more advanced that she is not as friendly as she expected. This charming story depicts the journey of little Ahni from an unsure hopeful to a confident dancer, by discovering the secret to success with the help of wise Madam Sabina.

What I enjoyed the most about this book is that after Ahni fell she ran away but she was given instructions to not run away from her problems and says “To be great at anything you must work hard and believe in it”.

This is an excellent book to introduce to your daughter to teach her that nothing or no one should come in between her dreams.
