We stayed in the family suite which had one bedroom with a pull out sofa and Murphy bed. The room was clean and spacious with a view of the indoor water park. Yes, I said it an indoor water park featuring a lazy river, wave pool, kiddie play area and slides just in case its too hot or too cold for a swim.

I love places with rich history and Cape Cod is no exception with the Cape Codder Resort. I had the honor of getting a tour with the owner of the resort Debra Catalina. Founded in 1973 by Patriarch V.J. Catalina, the Catalina Hospitality Group has grown from a single family restaurant on Cape Cod to an award winning collection of resorts, spas, and dining establishments.

What we enjoyed the most about Cape Codder

  • Family Orientated– This resort appeals to families with their indoor water park, arcade room, family activities like bonfire, nightly shows and puppet shows.

  • Restaurant on-premises- If you want to talk about convenience what better way serve you than by having 2 on-site restaurants. One is called Hearth and Kettle and they other one is called Grand Cru. We ate at Hearth and Kettle which is open daily we had burgers, buffalo macaroni and cheese and chicken fingers. Grand Cru is open Thursday-Sunday for live Jazz.
  • Hotel Decor-With its own personal touch and charm you will notice mermaid painted walls and seashells coffee tables. You begin to feel like your at the beach from your room. There are newly painted bathrooms featuring marble countertops.
  • On-Site Spa-What better way to relax than at the spa. The Beach Plum Spa offers massages, facials, body treatments, make-up application, day and night packages, spa parties, wedding services. They offer couples spa as well as mother and daughter spa treatment.

This is a resort that you definitely should visit price wise you get great deals in Sept-June and their busiest months July-August. You can also save money if you book an overnight from Saturday night to Sunday/Monday. We went June 12-16 and it wasn’t crowded at all so we felt like we had our own secluded spot.

If you are looking for a family resort you should take a trip to Cape Codder Resort and Spa.
