I was provided the new 2017 Kia Sorrento from Drive Shop USA and Kia Motors to test for a week free to facilitate this review. All opinions expressed here are my own.
Recently my family took a trip to Cape Cod, Massachusetts to spend 3 nights at Cape Codder Resort and Spa. We heard great things about the Kia Sorrento so we were excited to give it a test drive. Talk about a lovely car for families and couples alike.

5 Reasons Why We Love The Kia Sorrento SXL
1. Mileage
Without any exaggeration the tank was full and we drove to Brooklyn from the Bronx then we drove to Cape Cod and didn’t fill up again until the next day. The mileage on this car is quite impressive. We didn’t fill up again until the second day of our trip at Cape Cod. The Kia uses 5.3 gallons per 100 miles which is excellent.
2. Space
You can comfortably fit up to 7 people. When traveling to Brooklyn we had 2 extra adults who fit comfortably in the backseat. A lot of times the third row can be uncomfortable but the third row seat and roomy and you get to adjust the air flow as well. If you are looking for a ton of trunk space look no further.
3. Navigation
We fell in love with the bluetooth, Sirius XM which lets you playback songs, internet connection so the kids can play with their ipads.
4. Sound System
The infinity sound system packs a punch we only used it up to volume 12 and it was very loud we put to up to 20 and our kids couldn’t take it.
5. Parking Assist
My husband loves this feature. You have a back and front camera in parking. Safety is so important when driving especially when you have small children. We also love the 360 birds eye view it is such a great feature.
