Fall is here!
While I’m not excited about the cold we do get to wear some nice sweaters and boots. I heard of prAna before but I knew them for their workout clothes. I always wanted to try their yoga pants. When chosen to review their fall line I was excited about the opportunity.
Fall Fashion With Organic Cotton PrAna
My initial concern with the pants is that they came in regular and tall the reviews said they were long but you can easily cuff them. I reviewed the Kara Jeans in a size 2. When I received the jeans they were too tight so I exchanged them for a size 4. The size 4 fit perfectly in the waist and thighs. They are long I had to roll them up about three times at the bottom but they were still baggy because of the length. If you are tall you will love these jeans. The color is beautiful and vibrant and the material is soft and comfortable to wear. They are made of 75% organic cotton.
To go along with the Kara Jeans I reviewed the Winter White Deedra Sweater in XS. Its a tunic style that’s longer in the back than in the front I was surprised to see that it is 53% organic cotton, 26% acrylic, 13% polyester and 8% wool. Now what’s so special about organic cotton you ask. Like organic foods, organic cotton crops are not treated with pesticides. So your saying I don’t eat cotton how does this affect me? Pesticides destroy the environment the toxins found in pesticides, genetically modified organisms and insecticides are also harmful to farmers and workers as well as wildlife ecosystems. There aren’t many companies using organic cotton and have the same price tag as other well known companies. I feel great knowing I’m buying clothes from a company that seeks to preserve life. You can wear the sweater with jeans or leggings and a cute belt.
This is the perfect way to accessorize for the fall. I enjoyed reviewing PrAna and I would recommend them for more than just workout apparel. I hope in the future their clothes come in petite sizes. Keep in mind they also run small so order a size up.
