3 Ways Sun Basket Promotes A Healthy LifestyleMy family is health conscious we eat organic foods, non-GMO and seldom eat canned or processed foods but it wasn’t always this way.

As a child, growing up I ate pork, canned foods, processed meat I never drank water, didn’t eat fruit and disliked vegetables. To make a long story short my mother-n-law looked at me and said I was going to die if I continued to eat the way I was eating and that statement changed my life forever.

Fast forward to 2017 me and my family are health conscious and for good reason, it’s hard to trust the meat industry these days and you don’t know what you are eating. While we make sure we eat organically and with no processed foods my husband’s diet has changed even more to a Pescetarian. For health reasons, my husband has chosen to no longer eat chicken or beef but to stick with Wild Caught fish. Using Sun Basket has helped me prepare different types of meals for our family lifestyle choices.

When you have a family to take care of the first thing you try to find is time. Time is not on your side when you are a mom there is cleaning, cooking, homework, chores, meetings, etc. Getting your whole meal packaged and delivered to you is a great way to save on time that could be spent enjoying your family. Most meals take about 30 minutes to prepare using easy to follow instructions.

The two meals that I was chosen to review was the Salmon with Chard and Cranberry-orange relish and the Steaks with kimchi chimichurri and honey ginger plantain.

Overall, I was really impressed by the quality of the food as well as how fresh they were when they arrived. The fist was fresh and wild-caught not farm-raised. It was intriguing making the cranberry from scratch and I learned something new.

The steak was tender and juicy the only problem was that the plantains were hard I didn’t know to keep them out so they can get soft but you live and you learn.

I recommend Sun Basket to help you and your family sustain a healthy lifestyle. And if you’re still not sure, then look at the comparison of sun basket vs green chef to see what is recommended to go for.
