I received this book for free to review. All opinions are my own.

Can you believe February 1st is here? It’s Black History Month so much has transpired this year thinking about it makes my head spin.

As I think about this month, there are some difficult topics and one of those topics is racism.

My kids saw first hand the effects of racism in the case of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement. It was a hurtful reminder of where we stand in the eyes of America.

Our kids shouldn’t have to learn about racism in that manner and thanks to the CEO Jelani Memory of A kids book about, we can have a dialogue centered around racism.

The book is able to explain racism in an engaging way that can lead to further discussion such as what is racism?

Many of the injustices done stem from racism and being this is Black History Month this book would be a great segway.

Take a look at A Kids Book About Racism. They also have great titles such as:

A kids book about Gratitude
A kids book about God
A kids book about Covid-19
A Kids Book About Suicide
A Kids Book About Belonging

A kids book about belonging to name a few. They have a Black History Bundle featuring 13 books.

Great books for kids aged 5-9 and adults too!
