I love food but as I got older I realized it matters what you eat. I was a junk food lover but realized those food were dangerous to my overall health. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with a serious blood condition that can hospitalize me from. I try to make sure that I eat foods that provide my body with the necessary nutrients. Foods like beets sustain me mentally and physically some of the flavors that I like are sweet and mild. I eat different foods for energy, focus or just overall well-being. I make sure that when preparing my food I incorporate foods like turmeric, garlic and spices that have nutritional value to them.
