Reflections
My favorite chapter was One With Jesus he brought out my favorite scripture which is “Abide in me, and I in you. I am the vine you are the branches, he who abides in me and I in him, he bears much fruit for apart from you can do nothing.” He explained it wonderfully when he said we are two distinct beings united as one. There were concepts that he shed light on like fatherlessness. I didn’t realize how not having my earthly father contributed to how I felt about God the Father. Also, he brought up the difference between justification and sanctification. Best says, if you are worried about your sin and you fear the judgment of God with a hidden agenda. It ends with a series of questions that can used for a small group or personal reflection.
