I chose Christ because when you are at your bottom the only way left to go is up. After witnessing the death of my mother at age six my life was a shadow of darkness. So many negative things surrounded my life and well-being and that’s when the suicidal thoughts and tendencies tried to take my life but we serve a great God a God who will not let you jump out of the window but he will clothe you and say “I love you come here my child” There is no greater love than this. You may not be suicidal or have self esteem issues but you may be a liar, an adulterer, a thief, a fornicator, proud, envious, jealous I am here by God’s grace and so are you. If it seems like you can’t seem to find that happy place find Jesus. If you feel unfulfilled find Jesus. If you find yourself comparing to others find Jesus.
Now, if you have not invited Jesus Christ into your life as your personal Lord and Savior, my prayer at this very moment is that God’s Holy Spirit will open your eyes and your heart to be receptive to His love, His forgiveness, and His plan of salvation! Please take a moment to read the following Scriptures because it is important for you to understand that there is absolutely nothing you can do to earn salvation. It is a free gift from God, and He is waiting for YOU! For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20) If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9–10) Jesus Christ, the Son of God, born of a virgin, died for our sins on a cross at Calvary. He physically rose from the dead, now sits at the right hand of God in heaven, and will one day return to judge the world and deliver His people. It is God who offers to you, at this moment, the free gift of salvation and eternal life, which can only come through His Son, Jesus Christ. The truth, the unveiled reality, is that God seeks to walk in a daily, intimate relationship with you! It is simply the greatest gift in the world, and it is yours for the asking. He invites you, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Yes, God saves! God keeps! God satisfies! Calling on Christ involves knowing Him, trusting Him, wanting companionship with Him, depending on Him, and as evidence of our sincerity in all this, continually obeying Him! Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). There is no other way that leads to salvation except through Christ! If you would like to obtain eternal security and be brought back into a right relationship with God the Father, you must accept Jesus into your heart as your personal Savior. Just simply pray this prayer from your heart:
Blessing Bags – keep a couple in the car so when you see someone who is struggling (ie begging) you can give them a little something. Acts of Kindness. Don’t talk about, BE about it. (I saw this on facebook and loved it)
Vinegar This acidic wonder can wipe out tarnish, soap scum, mineral deposits, and more. Among natural cleaners, it’s the clear champ. Distilled white vinegar creates an environment that inhibits the growth of mold, mildew, and some bacteria, such as E. coli and salmonella, says Jeffrey Hollender, author of Naturally Clean ($18, amazon.com). Price: About $1.80 for a quart at supermarkets.
Use It to Clean Your… Coffeemaker: Pour equal parts vinegar and water into the machine’s water chamber, then switch on the brew cycle. Halfway through, turn off the coffeemaker and let the solution sit for about an hour. Turn it on again to complete the cycle, then run several cycles with clean water. Dishwasher:
To disinfect the interior of the machine, pour ½ cup vinegar into the reservoir and run an empty cycle, says Hunter. Or place a small bowl filled with vinegar on the bottom rack and run an empty cycle. Drains: Clean drains―and the pipes they’re attached to―by pouring vinegar down them. After 30 minutes, flush with cold water.
Floors: Add ¼ cup vinegar to a bucket of warm water to clean almost any type of floor except marble (vinegar can scratch it) or wood (vinegar can strip it). Glassware: For spotless hand-washed glasses, add 1 cup vinegar to the rinse water.
Moldy walls: Spray vinegar on the affected areas. After about 15 minutes, rinse and let dry thoroughly.
Showerheads: To combat mineral deposits, pour vinegar into a plastic grocery bag and knot the handles over the neck of the showerhead, securing with rubber bands. Let soak overnight. Rinse with water in the morning.
Steam iron: To get rid of mineral deposits, fill the iron with equal parts vinegar and water; press the steam button. Turn off, let cool, empty, and rinse. Windows: Mix ¼ cup vinegar, 2 cups water, and a squirt of liquid Castile soap in a spray bottle. Spritz windows and wipe with a sheet of newspaper.
I use vinegar to clean my floors and it removes dirt very well.
